Governor Phillip Park at Palm Beach on Sydney’s Northern beaches extends from Beach Road on the south to the Barrenjoey Headland. Located near the Palm Beach Golf Club, on one side of the park is North Palm Beach and the other side Pittwater.
The park gets its name from when Governor Arthur Phillip discovered this area in 1788 and named it Pittwater. Since 1924 up until the early 70s the park was a public camping ground.
Today it is a very popular Wedding Ceremony location with stunning beach views without the sand and all that comes with it.
