Is your reception in a different place than where you’re having your ceremony? If so, use a unique mode of transportation. While most guests at weddings drive from one place to another, offer a different route they can go down. If you’re having your wedding by the ocean, offer up transportation by sailboat. If your reception is right down the road, consider having a romantic carriage ride, renting a limousine, or a trolley car. No matter what you decide, offering a different mode of transportation will be one of the first sure signs that your guests are in for something special.

No matter if you’re having your wedding in autumn, winter or spring, every wedding comes with a wedding palette. As every couple wants their wedding to be a colourful event, there are more ways to include colour into your wedding rather than just relying on your flowers and table linens. The easiest way to incorporate more colour is through the bridal look. As every bride wants her hair to look absolutely perfect for the big day, a fun way for the bride to include a hint of fun throughout her look is by adding in unexpected colours into her hair. By using an at-home hair dye, a bride can achieve whatever colour she’s aiming for. If you’re loving your hair colour the way it is, the next best place to include more colour is either within your dress, shoes or your makeup. If still undecided, there are hundreds of options available as to how you can make your wedding the colourful event of the season!

While every couple makes a wedding registry one of their first priorities, instead of asking for things you might not need, consider gifting others in need by setting up a charitable wedding registry. By doing this, you can choose to have money donated to a cause that’s near and dear to both of you. If you don’t want to set up a charitable wedding registry but still want to give back, you can have your guests bring gifts to donate or just have them give money and donate it all together later on. Using your wedding as a way to help give back is such a selfless gift and will be a reminder to all your guests of the importance of giving back to those in need.

We all know that dancing comes with weddings. While we can expect the traditional group dances such as the macarena, the cha-cha slide and the cotton eye joe, take your wedding to the next level and surprise your guests with a flash mob! You can organize it between just the wedding party or can take it a step further and involve some of your wedding guests as well. This will be a perfect way for people to show off some of their dancing skills and will be a show for all those watching. You can choose to do it at the beginning of your reception or can reserve it as the final showstopper for the end of your wedding night.
